Learning that bridges generations
Programmes that combine research, storytelling and experiential learning — making the story of Chief Luthuli tangible and relevant today.

Time Travel Programme 2026
In partnership with KwaDukuza Museum, we recreate the events of 21 July 1967 — the day of Chief Luthuli's tragic passing — using period radio, newspaper and television material.
12 local high schools, each sending two Grade 12 learners, join us on 5 June 2026 at the Luthuli Museum.
What we offer
Curriculum-aligned visits and workshops for primary and secondary learners.
Access to primary sources for scholars, students and journalists.
Lectures and panels on human rights, heritage and reconciliation.
Ishashalazi newsletter and research papers on Luthuli and the movement.
Staff & Research Portal
A secure portal for staff and accredited researchers to access the Luthuli Museum digital archive, request materials and collaborate on projects.
