Mission

In delivering its mandate, the Museum aims to preserve, educate, promote, grow and sustain the legacy of Chief Albert Luthuli. To bring its mission into practice, the Luthuli Museum commits itself to:

  • Museum conservation, research and collection for the beneficiation of present and future generations.
  • Production, documentation and enabled access to knowledge about the legacy of Chief Albert Luthuli, and to the concept of a museum and its value.
  • Creating awareness and appreciation of the legacy of Chief Albert Luthuli.
